I'm 100% Canadian, but am more likely to watch 4th of July stuff on tv then Canada Day!
Steve was commenting the other day how he wished we had A&E tv station for one day a year. I just checked the tv listings and the Boston Pops (our favourite for July 4) is on CBS with Craig Ferguson hosting. Does it get any better than that.....?! Woo hoo!
Amazing! I've never hear that before and I loved it. I especially loved the audience's reaction. How cool.
Not to detract from Marvin's amazing rendition, but it did remind me of when Bleeding Gums Murphy sang the national anthem before the Springfield Isotopes game. He kept embellishing it and the clock displayed behind him advanced about 30 minutes while he was singing...
