It tastes awful. And it works.

I've been on the road for the last week and a half or so and it's been one of the busiest trips we have done in a while. I prefer the busy trips. I figure if I'm away from my family I should be as working as hard as possible. So let me show you a quick run down of what this trip looks like for me.

So yeah, a little hectic but good. The big problem is that back on the first Monday when we were driving to Cambridge I started to feel a sore throat coming on. By Ottawa I could barely talk. I didn't feel too bad but talking was an issue. This is a problem since I'm supposed to sing some BGV's and do a World Vision presentation. Then an all night drive after the Montreal show didn't do much to help.

But yesterday I finally think of Buckley's medicine. I have been loading up on Vicks, Fisherman's Friends, and some other sort of drop until now. I picked up the Buckleys before the show and and a couple of swigs before we played. I was able to sing again, and my voice was feeling pretty normal too. A bit more Buckley's before bed and I feel like a new man this morning. Not 100% but way better. Being sick on the road sucks. I'm just glad neither of the singers picked up what I had!!

They should rename Buckley's "Desperation", because nobody touches it until they're absolutley desperate! It's worked for me, but I always struggle through the cold till I feel like I have no other option. It's like drinking Pine Sol with salt! I feel nauseated just thinking about it!

That is one crazy schedule bro - but good for you guys! Stay busy and get the word out there!

I agree, it tasted salty to me too, and just thinking about it is making me want to gag. Too bad for me, Buckley's didn't work for me when I tried it. So much torture for nothing! I hope you're all better soon Glenn!

i just thought i'd let you know that if you're ever stuck with a sore throat and no buckleys, mint tea is awesome for that.. with honey in it. or if you can take the sweetness, about 3-4 tablespoons of pure honey in a cup and a half of boiling water, it coats the throat , and sooths the pain, and helps the voice! just thought i'd letya know!

Ugh, Buckley's is disgusting...the last time I took it I had to plug my nose while taking it so I wouldn't taste it as much, and I still nearly gagged just from the taste that was left in my mouth! It tastes A LOT better with honey.

I've never had Buckley's and after reading the above comments I think I'm glad about that.
