Joel Auge

Here's a "new" artist to check out for those of you who haven't heard of him. Quick history lesson. About 9 years ago Joel's first band, Capstone, appeared on a compilation album along with Downhere and my first band Hot House. It was called the Warehouse Mix. Actually, Thousand Foot Krutch was also on that compilation. Capstone had a couple of great songs on there. I always thought they deserved way more recognition. It was actually the same World Vision artist retreat that I met the Downhere boys at where I also met Joel for the first time.

Anyway, he's got some great new songs and Integrity has picked him up and are helping him with this new release. Joel got a bit of a break this week. Check out the Christian & Gospel section of itunes for a free "Discovery Download" of one of Joel's songs (U.S. customers only). Go Joel!!

Or just go to his myspace page to listen. Tell him Glenn sent you!!!

Ha ha ha, I forgot about "Potato House"! And it's 'partial' successor "hothouse".
